"Stop!" Liam yelled, anxious. He rushed to Benjamin and roared, "Are you out of your mind? She's your daughter! Why do you have to torture her like this?!" "I can't see her be this ungrateful because she's my daughter." Benjamin was frosty, his disappointment in Amber apparent.

Then he instructed the two men who were responsible for hanging Amber. "Pull her higher! Tighten the rope!" "Ah!" Amber was lifted in the air. The pull almost tore her apart, making her cry out in pain.

"Put her down now! We can talk it out!" Liam yelled, nervous. He kept rebuking Benjamin as he ran to the entrance, and tried to carry Amber to reduce her pain.

However, she was raised too high. Though he was standing on tiptoe, he could only hold her ankles. He couldn't relieve her pain at all.

Both Renee and Justin were shocked by what they had seen.

"You guys said he had no weakness, but I didn't believe you. Now, I see that he's a heartless man. He doesn't even let his daughter off the hook!" Justin shook his head, pitying Amber. Yet, he did not act recklessly.

Naturally, Renee couldn't stand it. She marched to Benjamin and said seriously, "Mr. Jenkins, this is between us. It has nothing to do with Amber. We can talk it out. Why do you have to make things difficult for Amber? She's your daughter. Will you be happy if she's hurt?" "I need to settle this with you." Benjamin glared coldly at Liam and Amber, then cracked a sneer." But before that, I need to handle my family affairs. If not, this black sheep will ruin my family." While talking, they could hear Amber's piteous cries.

Mateo's car followed close behind and stopped at the door of the fort. When he saw that scene, he was scared out of his wits.

"Master!" Mateo knelt in front of Benjamin. "I was wrong! I let Liam and his friends hurt your nephew, but Gem was ignorant. Don't punish her! Punishinstead!" Blood had drained out of his face.

Benjamin looked at Mateo and sneered. "I know you won't betray me. I raised you like my son, but you letdown and failed to subdue her. She got fooled by the traitor." "I'm sorry, Master. We can't force people to fall in love with us. I'm not charming enough to make Gem like me..."
